As a global manufacturer of complex aircraft engine components, Pursuit Aerospace is founded on a commitment to relentless, continuous, operational improvement and extraordinary customer service. We pride ourselves on competitive cost structure, exceptional on-time delivery, and industry-leading quality.

Our exceptional quality is driven by a deep investment in and the daily practice of continually improving our people, processes, and products.

About the Opportunity:

We're looking for a Growth Playbook Leader to join our team at Pursuit Aerospace. This is a remote, individual contributor role with the unique opportunity to influence strategy and drive growth across our Airfoils, Castings, & EMEA (ACE) division and multiple sites globally.

As Growth Playbook Leader, you'll take ownership of connecting strategic initiatives across our operations-identifying opportunities, prioritizing work, and ensuring our resources are aligned to maximize internal capabilities and reduce unnecessary outsourcing. You'll support decision-making with data-driven insights, influence leaders across functions, and help define the "how" behind our growth strategies.

This is a high-impact role designed for a strategic thinker who thrives on solving complex problems, connecting the dots across operations, and building scalable playbooks that drive sustainable growth. You'll collaborate with leaders across engineering, operations, and commercial teams to identify opportunities for efficiency, innovation, and expansion.

At Pursuit, we value individuals who are energized by challenge, thrive in ambiguity, and know how to influence without direct authority. If you're a data-driven strategist with a passion for unlocking growth, building frameworks, and helping leaders make better decisions, this role could be your next career-defining move.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the strategic connector across sites, identifying opportunities to leverage internal capabilities and reduce reliance on external vendors.
  • Collaborate with site leaders and functional teams to prioritize initiatives, optimize resource allocation, and support internal NPI (New Product Introduction) strategies.
  • Develop, maintain, and analyze data and insights to support informed decision-making and identify growth opportunities.
  • Build and maintain a "playbook" of best practices, frameworks, and repeatable processes to drive operational excellence and scalability.
  • Influence leaders across functions without direct authority, facilitating alignment on strategic priorities and execution plans.
  • Identify gaps in capabilities or processes and recommend solutions to improve efficiency, reduce costs, or accelerate innovation.
  • Track performance of initiatives, measure impact, and provide actionable recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Support the EVP of Operations in strategic planning, providing thought leadership and data-backed insights to guide critical business decisions.
  • Lead cross-functional projects and initiatives that drive operational growth, efficiency, and long-term value creation.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, Data Analytics, or a related field;
  • 5+ years of experience in operations strategy, business development, growth strategy, or management consulting, preferably in a manufacturing or aerospace environment.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship now or in the future. The Company cannot offer employment to visa holders who require employer sponsorship in the future or cannot work now on a full-time basis.
  • Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven ability to influence senior leaders and cross-functional teams without direct authority.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills, with experience in building dashboards, conducting analyses, and translating insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Experience identifying and prioritizing growth opportunities, optimizing resource allocation, and implementing scalable processes.
  • Demonstrated success managing complex, multi-site initiatives or programs.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of distilling complex information into clear, actionable insights for executives and operational teams.
  • Comfortable working in ambiguous, fast-paced environments and adapting strategies as priorities evolve.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

Working Conditions:

  • Travel up to 30%, including international travel (UK and Tunisia)
  • Working conditions typically include both office and shop floor environments.
  • Personal protective equipment (e.g., safety glasses and safety shoes) is required on the shop floor.
  • Lifting up to 20-30 lbs. may be occasionally required.
  • Occasional weekend and evening work may be required to accommodate priorities, deadlines, and schedules.
