This role is hybrid with the schedule being onsite Monday through Thursday and work from home Friday. Description Our client is looking to bring on an Retail IT Support Technician for a 4 month contract that will likely extend or convert. This person will be working in their Retail IT team, primarily supporting their new point of sale software as well as other peripheral and integrated software. In addition, this person will be asked to help with managing, writing documentation, and troubleshooting steps for their new vendor partners that are helping with break-fix and first level support. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of software configurations, change management, and customer privacy, with a solid retail background. While straddling both hardware and software, the position leans more towards software, specifically for the new cloud-based POS system. This person will primarily be supporting escalated tickets and triaging incoming issues. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
