Wellesley MA Full time R0014194 The Director, Advancement Marketing Strategy is responsible for developing the Advancement Marketing Strategy through developing and implementing an annual marketing plan, creating and refining a cohesive brand voice and messaging, producing multi-channel marketing campaigns for various alumni initiatives, and continually measuring and refining the marketing approach. This role will be responsible for managing and developing projects that inspire and engage the Babson community, strengthen fundraising and engagement initiatives, and promote the Babson brand. In collaboration with members of the Advancement team, this role will balance long term goals with short term execution and create and distribute Advancement marketing campaigns, annual fund and major gift communications, print pieces, email marketing, campaign materials, alumni engagement and event opportunities, and other forms of digital and print communications. In addition, this role is also responsible for writing and art direction as well as tracking and analyzing data to make informed decisions. WHAT YOU WILL DO
YOUR TEAM WILL INCLUDE Digital Marketing Manager WHAT EDUCATION AND SKILLS YOU WILL NEED Bachelor's or Master's Degree in communications, marketing, or related field A minimum of 10+ years of relevant work experience. Marketing Cloud Email Specialist and Marketing Cloud Consultant certification required Must have superior written and verbal communication skills. Must have excellent project management skills and attention to detail. Must have experience using content management systems. Must be proficient in MS Office. Experience with Photoshop, Illustrator and/or InDesign a plus. Must have a keen interest in the latest developments, industry trends, and best practices for digital marketing and social media. Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Must be team-oriented and self-motivated, with the ability to think creatively and analytically. Ability to create an environment where direct reports have the freedom and security to take initiative; deal with complexities with resilience, resourcefulness, and optimism; and appreciate open mindedness, creativity, and agility in thought and tactics. Ability to work independently and as part of a team to solve problems; look for opportunities to take on responsibility; take thoughtful risks; and effectively act on new and ongoing initiatives, objectives, and solutions to gain sought-after results. Ability to anticipate and effectively handle change; demonstrate willingness to try new skills and challenging tasks; and maintain flexibility in changing conditions. Must be comfortable presenting concepts and deliverables to colleagues, with the ability to articulate and present ideas based on sound user experience and design principles. Familiarity with video editing and production. HOW AND WHERE YOU WILL WORK Requires work onsite a minimum of 3 days a week (Monday and a minimum of 2 other days; additional requirements based on outlined department policy); the on-campus requirement is subject to modification based on organizational need. Must have had a valid unrestricted U.S. Driver's License for one year, and maintain throughout employment an insurable (as determined by the College's insurer's criteria) or a satisfactory driving record; must successfully complete and pass the College's vehicle training program within the first 60 days of employment; annual or more frequent review of employee's driving record based on the College insurer's criteria; and safety training as required by management.
