*Business Analyst - Enterprise Data & Analytics*
* * *Location:* Hybrid, 1-2 days onsite (Hawai'i-based candidates preferred) * * We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to lead requirements gathering and process documentation for a critical analytics and software initiative with a local utility organization. This role will focus on supporting Independent Power Producers (IPPs) through a Databricks-centric solution for Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) calculations and enhancing systems related to Invoice Management. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in data and analytics projects, with hands-on familiarity in Azure and Databricks environments. *Key Responsibilities* * Collaborate with business stakeholders to elicit, clarify, and document requirements. * Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications for development and data engineering teams. * Ensure solution alignment with Azure and Databricks architecture. * Create and manage backlog items, user stories, acceptance criteria, and testing requirements. * Facilitate workshops, requirements sessions, and solution walkthroughs. * Act as a liaison between business and technical teams to ensure successful delivery. * Maintain traceability of requirements throughout the project lifecycle. * Support change management and training efforts for new analytics solutions. *Required Skills & Experience* * Proven experience as a Business Analyst in software development or data/analytics projects (application development experience preferred). * Hands-on knowledge of data platforms, especially *Azure* and/or *Databricks*. * Strong understanding of data pipelines, ETL processes, BI/reporting tools, and analytics workflows. * Demonstrated ability to write user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and technical documentation. * Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders. * Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as *Azure DevOps* or *ServiceNow*. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
