Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Architect with our client in the financial industry located in Plano, TX. This is a 12 + month contract position. Responsibilities: Apply enterprise standards for architecture design and governance Critical analysis of the current architecture, emerging trends, enterprise standards and their application to solve a business problem Drive technical analysis and generate data points using large and complex data sets with minimal supervision in support of prevailing design patterns Build strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders both inside and outside the team to collaborate Address architectural, technical, procedural and skill challenges limiting CI/CD automation adoption Drive continuous improvements in CI/CD engineering and contribute overall health Provide status updates for the deliverables to stakeholders and leadership pertaining to delivery, risks, issues, and schedule Requirements: 5+ years tech modernization programs Deep technical expertise (Web/midrange/legacy) Strong communication and collaboration skills Experience architecting distributed databases (ex: Cockroach DB) and ETL (Informatica) Tech solution design leveraging modern technologies including Containers/AppHost, OpenShift, Splunk, Messaging (Kafka/MQ) Strong CI/CD concepts and experience of CI/CD suite of tools and their integration Familiarity with Jenkins, BitBucket, Ansible, XLR, SonarQube, Artifactory tools Experience configuring, operating, and monitoring CI/CD pipeline tools Analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills Strong communication, coordination, planning, influence Express ideas verbally and in writing to effectively communicate with and influence teammates, technology partners, business leaders and executives End-to-End technology architecture design, implementation, governance of UI/UX, Micro Services, RESTful APIs Strong software engineering and architecture experience Pay range: $63.68 - $71.68 Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
