Your role

Mission:
This position is responsible for disassembly/assembly, cleaning and testing of compressors, pumps & generators & related components in a shop environment. Successful candidates should display independent decision-making skills, possess good written and verbal communication skills, the ability to work with others and follow company policy.


Responsibilities:
Disassembly / assembly, cleaning and testing of compressor, pumps, generators, and related components in a shop environment.

Always promote and practice proper safety procedures and the correct use of personal protective equipment.
Test and document proper operating parameters.

Perform other duties as assigned.

To succeed, you will need

Experience working in a machine/repair shop environment
To be dependable, have mechanical aptitude, and the willingness to learn.


1-2 years of technical service experience maintaining and repairing compressed air equipment, dewatering pumps is preferred.


Demonstrated expertise in the maintenance, overhaul and repair of a wide variety of portable compressors is preferred.To be able to operate a forklift and overhead crane


Computer experience a plus


Education:
A High School diploma or GED is required


Skills:
This position requires a self-motivated individual with strong organizational and planning skills as well as strong mechanical and electrical background.

Must be able to assimilate a broad range of information, schedule priority work effectively and follow through to completion on a timely basis.
Other requirements are strong communication skills, sense of urgency, ability to learn and retain knowledge while maintaining a positive attitude.

This position requires a highly self-motivated individual with the ability to think ahead and work with minimal supervision and takes pride in maintaining the highest standards of quality.

Must demonstrate basic intelligence, mechanical aptitude, have good character and high moral ethics.

A qualified applicant must own basic tools and be available to work overtime as needed.


This position has no supervisory responsibility


Travel is not required in this position
