THE ROLE

The Global Retail Sales Enablement team's goal is to leverage the entire distribution platform to best equip our client facing teams with the tools, and resources to drive sales through data and contribute to the success of the channel.

The Sales Enablement Analyst - Retail will work under the direction of team members and focus efforts on data, technology, and tools that help with enhancing Non-US sales efforts. The Sales Enablement Analyst - Retail will support the team with the adoption and improvement of sales tools, building client segmentation models, and help broaden MFS's sales initiatives through research and data analysis. Additionally, the role includes supporting competitor product tracking and delivering insights that align with MFS's key priorities.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Collaborate with the Global Retail Sales Enablement team to support the adoption and usage of data tools for the sales teams.
  • Assists members of the team in identifying opportunities for improving existing tools to better align with Non-US Retail Sales workflows.
  • Provide basic day-to-day support for internal users, addressing questions and assisting with troubleshooting tool-related issues.
  • Under the direction of their manager provide support with conducting research on potential third-party data providers to help identify those that could enhance MFS's market insights.
  • Participate in the redevelopment of a client segmentation model for distribution teams by gathering and analyzing data.
  • Support the integration of first-party and third-party data sources into segmentation frameworks.
  • Assist team members in maintaining segmentation models are actionable and align with sales strategies.
  • Under the direction of their manager, assist in the evaluation and onboarding process for selected data providers, ensuring compliance with internal standards.
  • Monitor the quality and relevance of third-party data over time.
  • Support the maintenance of a competitor product tracking system for Non US Retail Sales channels.
  • Use internal systems and data sources to gather insights on mutual funds, ETFs (active and passive), and SMAs.
  • Assist in delivering notifications and analysis to Global Retail Sales teams, helping them identify opportunities and keeping abreast about market trends.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor's degree required, in a related field
  • 0-2+ years of previous financial services or analytical experience is a plus but not required
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Tableau and Seismic
  • Familiarity or willingness to learn SQL preferred
  • Familiarity or willingness to learn Toad and Snowflake
  • Demonstrate the ability to perform analysis
