Come join our Venice Family Clinic team to make a difference in the community. Under the guidance and direction of the Call Center Manager, this administrative role will perform a full range of call center duties, including:

  • Handling primary scheduling and productivity tracking for Venice Family Clinic staff physicians, per diem physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, mental health education providers, and health education providers.
  • Acting as a liaison for volunteer providers, and coordinate with leadership the schedules for volunteer providers and groups.
  • Creating/Managing records/rosters for volunteer physicians and volunteer departments.
  • Providing scheduling administrative support for our Residency Programs.
  • In coordination with the Associate Medical Director for Medical Students, handle the scheduling for the medical students' rotations.
  • Maintaining data and creating reports for VFC's medical services management, notifying coordination team regarding office closures (i.e. for holidays, construction, etc.).
  • Handle on-call services; work with on-call service operators and staff providers, input on-call schedules and manage on-call provider contact information.
  • Collaboration with the credentialing specialist, providing necessary information to ensure appropriate credentialing and privileging, and updating rosters.
  • Assist leadership in the implementation of VFC initiatives that impact provider schedules, and participate in other projects/meetings as assigned by management.

Salary range: $30.47 - $47.85 Hourly

Qualifications
Required:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience using Electronic Health Records, scheduling systems and creating/modifying templates.
  • Skill in conceptualizing and managing scheduling systems.
  • Effective and diplomatic verbal and written communication skills to obtain and convey information, and the ability to handle confidential/sensitive information with discretion.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively and professionally with staff, volunteers, and clients of diverse socio-economic backgrounds.
  • Ability to analyze and understand complex systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Skill in working independently and following through on assignments with minimal direction.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and demonstrate attention to detail despite constant interruptions.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage and complete projects with competing demands.
  • Working knowledge of various computer applications including complex database systems.
  • Ability to work some evenings and/or weekends when needed.
Verbal language skills in Spanish and experience using EPIC is preferred.
