Sigma Defense is currently seeking a Threat Military Planner & Liaison with experience in Operations Management and Strategic Planning in Electronic Warfare Operations.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of relevant experience.
  • Must have extensive knowledge in military event planning.
  • Strong knowledge of army planning and staff planning processes.
  • Strong understanding of Opposing Forces Doctrine and Electronic Warfare systems is highly desirable.
  • Experienced in military operations and organizations to include military doctrine, tactics, and command relationships.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Personnel Clearance Level:

  • Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active Secret security clearance or higher.
  • Clearance will be sponsored for the right candidate.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in an unspecified field of study.

Essential Job Duties (not all-inclusive):

  • Manage field deployment and testing of various electronic warfare equipment.
  • Coordinate with the customer official times/schedules of events and personnel hours.
  • Relay mission data to the operators during training events.
  • Produce products at the request of the United State Government (USG) customer based on system data.
  • Create heat maps and white papers when requested.
  • Create EW system signal propagation models.
  • Manage and oversee operators/system movement in and out of the training area.
  • Ensure operators are performing their tasks/duties as required.
  • Ensure operators are following safety procedures during shifts.
  • Ensure operators are following operating practices/policies and adjust as needed per operation.
  • Produce daily report roll ups at the end of shift to provide to USG customer.
  • Daily reports during rotation/events will be sent up to USG customer daily i.e. last 12- hour and next 12-hour Situation Report (SITREP).
  • Solve personnel or system related issues during training events.
  • Resolve issues in the field and inform the site lead and maintenance lead when issues occur or assistance is required.
  • Enforce safety at all times of system and personnel while out in the training area.
  • Ensure operators are wearing their personal protective equipment (PPE) while on shift and working in systems.
  • Ensure operators have enough food/water for their shift.
  • Relay any weather data that can hinder operation or advisories that could cause issues.
  • Safety brief prior to every shift.
  • Ensure operators have safety equipment required for shift i.e. PPE.
  • Enforce safety with the USG customer.
  • Advise customers for unplanned locations/movement.
  • Degraded system functions based off locations.
  • Educate USG customer pertaining to system functions and operations.
  • Perform capabilities briefs, coordinate displays, and answer questions for distinguished visitors, including EW system technical specification and operational uses.
  • Perform after action reviews and make necessary mission adjustments to fix deficiencies.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and build rapport.

Salary Range: $80,000 - $90,000 annually.
