About the Position... The Central Operations Specialist II (COS II) is an onsite position and does not have remote opportunities. The Central Operations Specialist II (COS II) is responsible for a variety of functions in the Central Operations Department, including CDARS, Reconciliations, Exception Items, Direct Link Risk Review (DLRR) fraudulent check review, Stop Payment Review, Chargeback processing, ACH transaction processing, Certifications, Report review, and backup for various Wire Department functions. The COS II will assist with monthly certifications, general ledger reconciliation, dormant accounts, CD holds, as well as other certifications. The COS II works closely with the Central Operations Officer, the Operations Administrator, and the Director of Deposit Operations to learn the duties of the Central Operations Department and related functions. This position will provide support to branch personnel, in a friendly, professional and efficient manner. The COS II will also assist in covering a variety of other clerical duties which includes answering the telephone, processing incoming and outgoing mail and packages, ordering supplies and forms, processing long term storage requests, and directing incoming calls and in-person visitors. The COS II will also assist the Central Operations and Wire/ACH departments with other duties and projects as required. This position will perform all duties accurately, timely and efficiently, and according to Bank policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines. Qualifications
About You... Education/Certification: High school graduate or equivalent. Required Knowledge: Knowledge of Back Office and Branch Operations.Knowledge of Deposit Related Compliance laws and regulations. Basic understanding of banking products and services. Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of experience in banking operations. Skills/Abilities:
