Position Summary:

The Vice President, Chief Nursing Officer & Site Administrator is an executive leadership role responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the organization the position serves (either Amery Regional Medical Center, Inc. (Amery), or Hudson Hospital, Inc. (Hudson), or Westfields Hospital, Inc. (New Richmond)). Amery, Hudson, and Westfields are referred to collectively as the Western Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics in this job description. This role focuses on ensuring the delivery of high-quality care, optimizing operational efficiency, and managing resources effectively to achieve organizational goals. The Vice President, Chief Nursing Officer & Site Administrator collaborates with system, regional, and local leadership to develop and implement strategic plans, policies, and procedures to enhance the overall performance of the organization.

The Vice President, Chief Nursing Officer & Site Administrator will serve as the liaison for the President, Western Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics to the local campus. This position administers, directs and coordinates all activities of the organization to carry out its mission to provide high quality health care and participation in community health programs. The Vice President, Chief Nursing Officer & Site Administrator works closely with the President, Western Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics and the President, Lakeview Health and Valley Executive Leader to ensure alignment between the organization's mission, vision, and strategic goals.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday

Required Qualifications:

  • Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination:

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program and current licensure as an RN in the State of Wisconsin, required

  • Master's Degree, required

  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive leadership experience in health care or related field, demonstrating management expertise, required

  • Licensure/ Registration/ Certification:

    • Current Unencumbered Wisconsin RN license, required

    • BLS and ACLS preferred.

  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Strong leadership, management, and communication skills.

    • In-depth knowledge of healthcare operations, including patient care services, regulatory requirements, and financial management.

    • Ability to think strategically and implement operational improvements.

    • Experience with healthcare technologies and data analytics.

    • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

    • Ability to establish and maintain effective interpersonal relationships with all levels of management, clinicians, employees, business, government and community officials and the general public.

    • Excellent presentation and public speaking skills.

    • Knowledge of process improvement and quality improvement tools and methods.

    • Ability to analyze and make recommendations for complex problems which impact the effectiveness of the organization's operations.

    • Knowledge of key laws and regulatory requirements including critical access hospital, provider-based clinic and rural health clinic rules.
