As a Security Guard - Unarmed Patrol - Multiple Shifts in Kinston, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling assigned areas within a food and beverage production location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents, while you conduct regular patrols and remain highly visible throughout your shift. You will interact with employees, visitors, and contractors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication at all times. Pay Rate: $13.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the food and beverage production environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain awareness of activity in and around the location.
• Observe and report any irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
• Communicate with Allied Universal management and client representatives regarding security-related matters as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
