Job Summary:

To build and maintain hose assemblies, perform light mechanical repairs, and support warehouse operations. This role ensures timely and accurate service while maintaining safety and quality standards.


Responsibilities:


  • Hose Assembly & Warehouse Duties
  • Build new and replacement hose assemblies on demand.
  • Mark hose assemblies using tags, stamps, or electric marking tools.
  • Maintain inventory of hose components and contact vendors for supplies.
  • Clean and organize hose room, tools, and equipment.
  • Receive, count, and stock items in an orderly manner.
  • Assist with general warehouse duties including packing, unpacking, and inventory verification.
  • Light Mechanical Service


Parts Ordering Duties


  • Source and order required parts and materials for hose and repair services.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts.
  • Track and follow up on open purchase orders to prevent delays in service.
  • Verify accuracy of received parts against purchase orders and service requirements.
  • Maintain records of parts usage, costs, and vendor performance.
  • Perform basic service tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and minor repairs.
  • Inspect and service bearings, seals, and gaskets.
  • Use hand tools, measuring tools, and lifting/jacking equipment safely.
  • Follow contamination control and sustainability practices.


Customer Service & Communication


  • Interact professionally with internal and external customers.
  • Provide prompt feedback and support to service requests.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers.

Requirements
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required.
1--3 years of warehouse or mechanical experience preferred.
Forklift and scanner experience preferred; certification a plus.
Basic computer skills and mechanical aptitude required.
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in a warehouse/shop environment.
Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
