As a Receiving Stockroom Associate at Coperion in Sabetha, Kansas, you will be responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing parts, equipment, and supplies to support our production operations. Your role is to ensure accurate and timely delivery of materials, maintain inventory accuracy, and support warehouse efficiency. You will work within established procedures, collaborate with team members, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to optimize material flow and inventory control. What You'll Do:
Receive parts, equipment, and supplies from delivery trucks, unload shipments, verify accuracy, and inventory all merchandise. Process work orders, locate inventory, and pull parts using forklifts or other equipment, attaching order requests, and ensuring delivery to production. Drive company vehicles to pick up parts and merchandise from various locations and deliver materials to the appropriate site. Perform cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy and support inventory reconciliation efforts. Prepare inventory for off-site storage, coordinate with facilities, and deliver materials as needed. Support warehouse organization, including staging, labeling, and maintaining a clean, safe environment. Investigate and resolve non-conformance issues, report discrepancies, and recommend corrective actions. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently. Support continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory accuracy, warehouse processes, and material handling. Maintain accurate records of all inventory transactions, shipments, and receipts. Perform other duties as assigned to support warehouse and production operations.
Team:
You will be part of Coperion's warehouse and logistics team, working closely with colleagues to ensure efficient material flow, accurate inventory management, and seamless warehouse operations. Your contributions will support the overall success of our supply chain and production processes.
Basic Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to safely operate company vehicles and maintain a valid driver's license. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly. Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, including hot, cold, and inclement weather. Basic reading, math, and record-keeping skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in receiving, warehouse, or stockroom operations. Experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks. Knowledge of inventory control measures and material handling practices. Proficiency with office equipment such as computers, copiers, and calculators. Strong attention to detail, ability to handle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines. Good communication skills and a professional, courteous manner when interacting with co-workers and vendors.
