What You'll Do



  • Implement commodity-specific business plans to ensure suppliers exceed launch, quality, capacity, warranty, and delivery metrics.
  • Partner with leadership teams to resolve supplier issues quickly and effectively.
  • Take ownership of on-site troubleshooting and corrective actions during emergency supplier situations.
  • Ensure suppliers meet Ford's industry-leading quality standards (Q1).
  • Assess and validate manufacturing feasibility at supplier facilities.
  • Lead the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) activities.
  • Use metrics and data to guide sourcing decisions and improve future quality outcomes.
  • Drive proactive initiatives to achieve zero vehicle losses from suppliers.

What You'll Bring



  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or related technical field (or equivalent manufacturing/technical experience)
  • Strong knowledge of Quality Management principles, PPAP, APQP, and problem-solving methods
  • Proven technical aptitude with the ability to assess and resolve supplier and manufacturing challenges
