What You'll Do:
Depending on your experience, you may:

  • Conduct and support field investigations, sampling, and assessments.

  • Prepare technical reports and deliverables such as Phase I ESAs, site investigation reports, and soil management plans.

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop creative, compliant solutions for contaminated sites.

  • Manage projects, budgets, and client relationships.

  • Mentor junior staff and support career development.

  • Represent VHB in the industry through professional organizations, conferences, and community engagement.

What You Bring:

  • A degree in Geology, Environmental/Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field (Master's a plus).

  • Field and/or office experience in environmental consulting, investigation, or remediation (entry-level through senior candidates encouraged to apply).

  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.

  • OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training (can be obtained upon hire for early career professionals).

  • PE/PG licensure a plus for senior candidates.

Compensation & Benefits:
Our best estimate of the salary range for professionals in Connecticut is $70,000-170,000, with competitive compensation for early-career hires as well. We offer a holistic benefits package designed to support your professional and personal well-being.
