In the role of Aviation Intern, we'll count on you to:

  • Gain hands-on experience working on airfield infrastructure projects, such as taxiways, runways, aprons, and drainage systems.
  • Support design and construction efforts in compliance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) AA Advisory Circulars and airport engineering standards.
  • Assist in preparing engineering drawings and technical reports related to airfield improvements.
  • Collaborate with project teams and contribute to other duties as needed to support the airfield design team.
  • Perform assignments under the direct supervision of a professional engineer or project manager.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with AutoCAD.
  • Preference is given to local candidates or those with a demonstrated interest in aviation infrastructure.
Required Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program
  • Attention to detail
  • Possess strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
