Position Title: Receiving Associate
Wage: $18.00 per hour Shift: 1st Hours: 7:00am-3:30pm (Mon-Fri); 7:00am-12:00pm (Sat) QPS Employment Group has a great 1st shift Receiving Associate position at a dart board manufacturer in Loves Park, IL. This position has the opportunity for hire. Receiving Associate Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Receive incoming shipments of materials, supplies, and products. - Accept, unload, and unpack containers from delivery vehicles and trucks. - Verify items and inspect condition; compare count/measure to purchase order and packing list; note and follow up on discrepancies. - Assist with Quality Control verification process for critical components. - Update MRP system. - Transfer, route, or deliver items as necessary. - Work with vendors and transportation services to rectify issues with damaged materials or shipment shortages; return damaged items; request new items or credit for shortages. - Receive returns from production and customers verifying identifying information and quantities. - Prepare shipments, assembling, ensuring condition of items to be shipped is as expected, packing, protecting, and labeling containers. - Determine and schedule shipping method, examining items to be shipped, destination, route, rate, and time of shipment. - Package and ship items, verifying identifying information and quantities, and making corrections if necessary; ensuring condition of items to be shipped is as expected; loading and protecting items. - Record identifying information and transport information in MRP system. - Maintain area supplies, checking stock to determine inventory levels; anticipating needed materials; placing and expediting orders as necessary; verifying receipt of materials ordered. rockfordresumes@qpsemployment.com IND017 About us: QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
