Quality Control Specialist

Location: Lakewood, Washington (Joint Base Lewis-McChord)

Type: Non-Exempt

Work Schedule: Full-time, Day Shift

Compensation: $25.00 - $28.00/hour Dependent on experience

Tessera is seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented, and mission-driven Quality Control Specialist to help us uphold the highest standards of excellence across our operations. Typical duties include but are not limited to:
  • Conduct daily inspections across various service areas (e.g., janitorial, sanitation, grounds, pest control, etc.)
  • Document inspection results using designated forms and software
  • Solicit customer feedback and surveys during inspections
  • Prepare and submit clear, concise reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
  • Maintain and update quality control documentation on SharePoint and Quality Skynet
  • Monitor trends in customer satisfaction and initiate corrective actions
  • Support training and development of staff in quality control procedures
  • Ensure safety compliance during inspections and report any hazards
  • Travel to off-site locations as needed
  • Participate in new hire training and quality control Q&A sessions
  • Conduct ISO audits and ensure SOPs meet contractual guidelines
Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years in Quality Control, Safety, or Janitorial Services
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Maximo); strong communication, organization, and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Willingness to cross-train and learn new contracts

Physical Requirements:

Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance. The physical demands of this position may be reasonably accommodated for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions on a case-by-case basis.

  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • May be required to reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time based on position duties.
  • Work may require repetitive motion, reaching, lifting, kneeling, and walking. Standing or sitting for several hours at a time, climbing in and out of a vehicle, and up and down stairs may also be required.
  • Must have the perseverance to work effectively under pressure for extended periods of time.

Requirements:

  • Valid state driver license is required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera's insurance carrier.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances and installation access. A background check and E-Verify will be conducted for this position.
