Full-Time / Part-Time Full-Time Career Level Experienced Non-Manager Job Description Jetseal Inc, is a leader in high-performance resilient metal seal technology and production. We manufacture specifically engineered solutions for the aerospace, automotive, power generation and research & development fields. Summary: This is an in-person role on the shop floor, with time available at a desk for programming duties. As a CNC Programmer/Machinist you will be responsible for developing G code that direct our CNC machines to cut and shape metal to produce components for tools/dies and other industrial machined parts and tools efficiently and safely. Use CAD models and/or blueprints to define the configuration of the required components. Our machine shop utilizes primarily Haas lathes and mills for (rough cutting, finish cutting, shaping, pocketing, profiling, turning, drilling, tapping, threading, etc.). You will assist in the development of programs for others as well as yourself. You will be a working Machinist responsible for creating finished work. Analyze job orders, CAD models, and/or blueprints to determine machining requirements. Plan and define the sequence of machining operations and workflows. Calculate dimensions, tolerances, materials, tooling, speeds, and feeds required for production. Select appropriate tools, fixtures, and machine setups. Generate CNC programs (Fanuc, Haas, Hyundai, etc.) using CAM software (e.g., Mastercam). Test and verify programs through simulation and first-run trials. Operate CNC machines to produce precision components, adjusting programs and setups as needed. Inspect and measure finished parts to ensure conformance to specifications and quality standards. Modify or optimize programs to improve efficiency, quality, and safety. Collaborate with machinists, supervisors, quality control, and engineers to resolve production issues and ensure smooth workflow.
