Position:Assembly and Test Technician (Secret Clearance Required)

Location:Greater Boston, MA (Onsite)

Length:6+ months

Job Description:

Our client is seeking an Assembly and Test Technician to join their team. This role involves working hands-on with equipment and hardware in a highly structured environment, following detailed process instructions to complete test execution activities. The technician will collaborate with engineers and skilled operators to assist in the development, testing, and validation of assemblies and components, while maintaining accurate documentation and adherence to established procedures.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities (but not limited to):

  • Perform cleaning and routine maintenance of laboratory equipment under supervision.
  • Follow detailed process instructions to operate equipment and conduct hardware testing.
  • Document work and results in accordance with established process and test instructions.
  • Assist engineers in applying engineering technology to develop and test product assemblies and components.
  • Participate in focused training to support progression into higher-skilled positions, as determined by the supervisor.
  • Perform other temporary assignments as directed by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • At least six months of applicable experience in a laboratory, production, or technical environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to perform manual labor and operate automated or semi-automated equipment.
  • Attention to detail with a commitment to following process instructions and documentation standards.
  • Active Secret clearance is strongly preferred. Candidates without clearance must be able to obtain a secret clearance upon starting the role.
  • Candidates must be a United States Citizen.
