Purpose of the Role
The Quality Control Inspector ensures that all materials, workmanship, and project activities comply with project specifications, industry codes, and quality standards. This role supports Worley's commitment to delivering sustainable and reliable solutions by maintaining rigorous quality control throughout all project phases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct inspections of materials, equipment, and construction activities for compliance with specifications, codes, and standards.

  • Document inspection results accurately and report findings to project stakeholders in a timely manner.

  • Collaborate with project teams to address quality concerns, recommend corrective actions, and monitor their implementation.

  • Maintain accurate quality records and prepare detailed reports for project and regulatory requirements.

  • Assist in the development and refinement of inspection techniques, procedures, and processes to improve efficiency.

  • Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and project-specific quality requirements.

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior inspectors or team members when needed.

Qualifications / Skillset

  • Technical school graduate with training in quality control or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Demonstrated experience in inspection and quality assurance in construction, energy, chemical, or resource projects.

  • Strong understanding of project specifications, construction practices, and relevant codes and standards.

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently while meeting accuracy and timeliness expectations.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

  • Familiarity with quality management systems, processes, and tools used for inspection and documentation.

  • Commitment to safety, sustainability, and continuous improvement

  • Minimum 4 years industrial construction/maintenance industry experience
  • NCEER Certified Plus (Written or performance verified)
