 In this role, you will engage andcollaborate with Linde's regional businesses, global customers, OEMs, and
 suppliers to develop and commercialize new materials, purification
 technologies, delivery systems, and packaging solutions for their use in the
 Electronics specialty gases and advanced materials market
You will lead new product development - drive projects for new product development from concept to successful commercializationDesign & setup experimental apparatus; plan, run, and/or execute experiments; conduct dataanalysis, and create efficient presentations for communicating technical
 results
You will become an internal technical expert in the field ofrelevant semiconductor materials
You will ensure constructive stakeholder alignment with developmentpartners, commercial team, and customers throughout all stages of technology
 development
Actively participate in internal and externaltechnical collaborations to identify opportunities for new products and/or development programs
Prepare invention disclosures and contribute to thedevelopment of Linde intellectual property portfolio
 
 What makes you great 
 
 You will need a Ph.D. in ChemicalEngineering, Material Science, Chemistry, or related technology, plus 10+ years of proven track record of driving
 new product development and commercialization of specialty gases or precursors
 for the semiconductor or related industries
In-depth understanding of semiconductor wafer tool operation (etch, deposition, implant, etc.), handling of electronics materials (gases or precursors), knowledge of chemical delivery systemsFundamentalknowledge of physics and chemistry of dry semiconductor manufacturing
 processes, including plasma chemistry
Design, build, and maintenance experience of a custom vacuum or high-pressure gas systemDemonstrated success in experimental design, data collection, interpreting results, and guiding experimentsProficiency in surface characterization techniques - operation of SEM, TEM, XPS, ellipsometer, FTIR, etc.You have hands-on experience with handling of hazardous materials in R&D setting including material analysisProject management experience; familiarity with stage-gate process for new product developmentAbility to work independently and to be flexible in fast-pacing R&D environment with changing prioritiesEfficient verbal and written (email, technical documentation, presentation) communication skills are requiredExcellent interpersonal skills for collaborative teamwork
