The Cancer Center at the University of Virginia seeks to hire a Screening Program Manager. The manager of screening programs and services will be responsible for the implementation and evaluation of the strategic goals and objectives related to cancer screening and navigation. The manager will work with key stakeholders in the community and UVA Health to improve screening rates, develop effective pathways to initiate screening and follow up of abnormal findings. Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree must be obtained within 4 years of hire or transfer. Experience: 7 years of experience required. Preferred Qualifications Education: A master's degree in public health, nursing, or a related field. Experience: 8 years working with in a healthcare setting, public health or related field, with 4 years of managerial experience in a professional setting. Physical Demands: This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require regional travel 1-2 times a month. Salary Range: Salary will be commensurate with education and experience. Exemption Status: This is an exempt-level, benefited position. Learn more about UVA benefits.
