About the role

Basic Job Functions:

The maintenance planner is responsible for coordinating and optimizing maintenance activities across the entire facility to maximize equipment uptime, reliability, and production efficiency. This role requires planning, scheduling, and tracking preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance objectives utilizing PeopleSoft as the main CMMS system for asset tracking. This position works closely with maintenance technicians, production teams, and plant leadership to ensure maintenance tasks are properly prioritized, align with the needs of the facility, and plant performance goals.

Planning and Scheduling:

  • Ensure all maintenance activities are planned and executed in compliance with Reworld safety policies, industry standards, and safety regulations.
  • Develop, schedule, and optimize preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance work orders in the CMMS system. Prioritize activities based on production requirements, resource availability, and equipment criticality.
  • Create, review, and close work orders in the CMMS system. Ensure accurate documentation of completed work, maintenance requests, labor, and materials. Collaborate with maintenance teams to capture detailed feedback of completed work tasks.
  • Coordinate maintenance techs, contractors, and materials to ensure proper job planning and execution.
  • Assist in planning and scheduling maintenance support for capital projects, equipment installations, planned and unplanned shutdowns. Provide input on manpower, materials, and timelines.
  • Work closely with storekeeper staging parts required for planned and scheduled work.
  • Evaluate and analyze equipment history, predictive maintenance data, and trends to assist in anticipation of plant maintenance needs and prioritization and planning of work.
  • Generate work scopes for planned major maintenance activities during schedule outages.

Boiler Reliability Support:

  • Assist in equipment inspections during scheduled and unscheduled outages.
  • Prepare outage inspection planning matrix defining inspection scope, schedule, costs and resource requirements.
  • Preparation of condition assessment reports with executive summary.
  • Inspection data compilation, analysis and presentation.
  • Develop and revise standard specifications for outage work scopes.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School diploma/GED required
  • 3+ years of experience in a maintenance planning or coordination role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience supporting capital projects, plant shutdowns, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems in a production environment.
  • Experience with work order management CMMS systems.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, manage resources effectively, and collaborate with cross functional teams.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Projects.

The expected salary range for this position is 77,021 - 105,998.

This is a good-faith estimate of what we expect to pay for this position. The final salary will consider various factors, including experience, ability, and location. Reworld is committed to paying its staff equitably, and these ranges should not be considered career salary limits or caps.
