Summary

The Senior Manager, LNG Plant Production is responsible for overseeing all aspect of safety, operations, compliance, security and environmental programs to maintain safe, efficient and reliable plant operations. The Senior Manager will lead the team of plant operators and maintenance technicians to achieve optimal performance of LNG production so that customers demand can be met. They will ensure adherence to process discipline, compliance with all applicable regulations and agencies, and foster a safety culture at the production facilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

General:

Direct and perform all commercial and financial activities, including budgeting, procurement, administration of plant contracts, and plant financial reporting.

Ensure robust plant safety and security inspections, auditing, and training procedures are implemented to meet OSHA, PHMSA and other required regulations. Prepare various regulatory filing and permits.

Verify and approve all inspections of Plant equipment to ensure proper and normal operating conditions. Review and analyze all operational data such as fluid levels, temperatures and pressures, compare to trends and direct corrections as needed.

Review daily operating reports relative to plant operations' productivity, quality, and cost efficiency, to ensure specified operating characteristics in control of the Plant equipment.

Collaborate with General Manager, and Sr Management to develop operational and performance Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to drive and report on performance.

Analyze operational data and telemetry date to identify potential faulty and malfunctioning mechanical and electrical components, devices and equipment related to "Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) equipment.

Diagnose equipment malfunctions during emergencies and direct activities to restore normal operation or to shut down malfunctioning unit.

Ensure all operational activity, including inspections, preventative maintenance, correctives, and safety inspections are setup and executed through the companies Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

Administer major plant contracts, fuel purchase agreements, and long-term service agreements. Prepare and oversee operating and capital budgets.

Notify General Manager, LNG Production Plants and LNG Logistics of shutdown or major changes in plant operations to ensure gas supply and planned loads are managed in a timely manner.

Serve as primary contact for permitting and regulatory agencies.

Review and approve all preventative maintenance activities and schedules for plant equipment and structures in accordance with manufactures and Clean Energy guidelines. Oversee the repair and other plant changes within approved budgets and timelines.

Identify plant training objectives and employee development needs, collaborating with the Safety department, Human Resources, and the General Manager.

Conduct periodic reviews of plant policies and procedures to ensure they reflect current operating requirements.

Schedule and deploy routine and special tests and plant inspections to improve operations and maintain safe working conditions, with a focus to quality and continuous improvement.

Maintain high levels of morale and motivation among plant personnel at all times.

Directly supervise a team of employees. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, disciplining and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's Degree, plus a minimum of 10 years of related experience and/or training and a minimum of 8 - years of management experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
