Procore is looking for a Senior Director, Procurement to join our Finance team. In this role, you will lead the procurement team, transform our procurement processes and systems, manage vendor relationships and drive cost efficiency through strategic sourcing. You will partner with Finance, Legal, IT, and business unit leaders to optimize the entire procurement lifecycle, from requisition to contract negotiation and vendor management.

This role reports to the SVP, Corporate Controller, and ideally will be based near one of our offices in Austin, TX or Carpinteria, CA. We're looking for someone to join us immediately.

What you'll do:

  • Lead and mature a global procurement organization focused on scalability, financial discipline, value creation, and operational excellence.

  • Develop and execute an enterprise procurement strategy that aligns with Procore's business goals and evolving needs.

  • Advance procurement technology, data analytics, and automation initiatives to improve user experience, transparency, and operational efficiency.

  • Oversee strategic sourcing, vendor management, and contract negotiations to optimize total cost of ownership and supplier performance.

  • Partner cross-functionally with Legal, Finance, IT, Security, and other stakeholders to enable streamlined sourcing, budgeting, and approval processes.

  • Negotiate complex contracts and agreements with key suppliers and vendors to secure favorable terms and conditions.

  • Lead the corporate travel and expense management function, evolving Procore's programs to meet the needs of a hybrid, global workforce.

  • Coach, mentor, and grow a high-performing, business-aligned procurement team to support both strategic initiatives and day-to-day purchasing operations.

What we're looking for:

  • 14+ years experience in procurement or related roles with at least 3-5 years in a leadership position, and a proven track record of achievement and growth in leadership.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of end-to-end source-to-pay processes and best practices.

  • Experience serving in leadership roles through a procurement transformation

  • Experience evaluating, building, evolving and scaling systems for procurement (source-to-pay) and travel management.

  • Procurement and ERP tech knowledge with experience using solutions like Zip, Coupa, NetSuite and Excel is preferred.

  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills with a focus on understanding metrics/analytical data.

  • Experience within the Technology or SaaS industry preferred.

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in business, finance, accounting, or a related discipline.

Base Pay Range:

204,800.00 - 281,600.00 USD Annual For Los Angeles County (unincorporated) Candidates:
