The Online Master of Science in Computer Science (OMSCS) is seeking to hire a Research Associate (Open Rank) who assists in research projects and teach OMSCS and OMS-Cybersecurity programs.

The Research Associate will be responsible for:

• Teaching 6 credit hours of coursework in computer networking and/or internet research methods per semester (spring, summer, and fall) in the OMSCS and OMS-Cybersecurity programs.
• Advising student research projects in internet research, data analytics, computer networking, and related fields, especially for online MSCS students.
• Overseeing PhD students mentoring online MSCS students on similar projects related to internet research, data analytics, computer networking, and related fields.
• Conducting intramural research on student progress through the program, including student course selection, predicting student success, and predicting admissions decisions.

Research Associate I

Bachelor's degree

Research Associate II

• Three (3) years of relevant full-time experience after completion of Master's or
• Five (5) years of relevant full-time experience after completion of Bachelor's or
  Doctoral Degree

Senior Research Associate

• Master's degree with seven (7) years of relevant full-time experience after completion of that degree, or
• Master's degree with nine (9) years of relevant full-time experience after completion of a Bachelor's degree, or
• Doctoral degree with four (4) years of relevant full-time experience after completion of a Bachelor's degree

Principal Research Associate

• Master's degree with Eleven (11) years of relevant full-time experience or
• Doctoral degree with Seven (7) years of relevant full-time experience after completion of a Bachelor's degree

Doctoral degree with Five (5) years of relevant full-time experience after completion of a Bachelor's degree
