Role

The Senior Talent Management Partner, AI Enhanced Employee Experience, will drive the successful adoption and integration of AI across Okta's employee lifecycle. You'll partner with our AI Strategy team and the People & Places team to embed AI into core employee experiences like talent development and performance management. This includes developing the skills, tools, and resources our people need to thrive in an AI-enabled workplace.

In this role, you will:



  • Lead the operational strategy, with cross-functional teams, for integrating AI into the employee lifecycle, from hiring to career development
  • Design and partner to deliver our enterprise-wide career and talent pathways framework, with a focus on AI skills and augmentation
  • Develop and execute an AI competency frameworks, providing guides for hiring, upskilling, and rescoping roles, as well as organizational design frameworks to help integrate AI
  • Provide guidance and resources to help businesses incorporate key AI skills into their teams
  • Serve as a key People & Places liaison for the Okta AI Strategy team, helping to drive company-wide change management and adoption
  • Navigate emerging workstreams and collaborations as our AI strategy and focus evolves


This role will report to the Leader of Talent Management and will bring deep expertise in talent management, proven success in cross-functional collaboration, and experience in building and managing career frameworks.

Results

Key deliverables/scope for this role will include:



  • AI Integration Strategy: Contribute to a comprehensive plan, partnering closely with the People & Places Digital Solutions leader, for integrating AI into core employee experience functions (e.g., recruiting, performance management, learning and development)
  • AI Capability Building: Implement an AI competency framework with tailored assessment tools to measure AI readiness and maturity across all business functions
  • Career and Talent Framework: The design and responsibility of an enterprise-wide career and talent pathways framework, with a specific focus on how AI will impact roles and required skills
  • Skill Development Resources: The creation and deployment of resources (e.g., toolkits) to equip employees with the skills they need to succeed in an AI-enabled workplace
  • Success Metrics: Defined KPIs and metrics to measure the effectiveness of AI integration, such as employee sentiment, adoption rates, skill development progress, and business impact


Relationships

This role will be accountable for building and developing relationships cross-functionally and among many workstreams. The ability to build trust, adapt and engage new partners is essential to the delivery of results. Key working relationships include, but are not exclusive to:



  • Internal Partners: Okta's AI Strategy team, People & Places teams and Business teams
  • External Partners: AI platform vendors, and industry peers for best practices


Skills



  • 7+ years of talent management experience with subject matter expertise across the HR functions including talent development, performance, and engagement
  • Experience leading enterprise-scale change management, ideally in technology adoption
  • Demonstrated experience using GenAI tools
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills to make AI approachable and relevant
  • Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and build alignment across functions
  • Education/experience in organizational behavior in program design and execution
  • Experience in building, implementing, and managing career frameworks and/or skills taxonomies

The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in the San Francisco Bay area is between:
$166,000 $248,000 USD

Below is the annual base salary range for candidates located in California, Colorado, New York and Washington. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable), bonus, and benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies. The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in California (excluding San Francisco Bay Area), Colorado, New York, and Washington is between:
$148,000 $222,000 USD
