V3 Sports is a nonprofit located in vibrant North Minneapolis, focused on elevating our community through wellness, fitness, and education! Thanks to our amazing partners, donors, and incredible community members, we have been making waves in Minneapolis, serving over a thousand families since 2007.

Founded as a non-profit in 2007, the mission of V3 Sports mission is to elevate our community through wellness, fitness and education. In 2024, V3 Sports opened Phase One of the V3 Center, a 40,000 square foot health and wellness center that will grow to be a North Minneapolis community asset and a regional destination. The focus of Phase One is to provide a place for Northside residents of all ages to access water, state-of-the-art fitness equipment, physical rehabilitation and enjoy healthy and delicious food offerings.

Phase Two, which V3 Sports is actively fundraising for, will be a regional destination for sporting events, career fairs, community events, and other drivers of economic stability. At the V3 Center, Northside young people and families will access programming that supports their career and economic aspirations and builds the skills they need to make their dreams reality.

Wages and Benefits

$16 per hour; Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST). V3 Sports sponsors a retirement plan with a 4% employer match and immediate vesting.

A Typical Day in the Life...

A typical day as V3 Sports's Membership Specialist provides an opportunity to be the welcoming face of our facility-helping guests and members with memberships, program information, and account setup while delivering outstanding customer service in a friendly, professional environment. Responsibilities will include the following:



  • Greeting and interacting with all guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Ensuring all members and guests are properly checked in and receiving excellent service.
  • Communicating clearly and building positive connections with members, guests, and teammates.
  • Managing communication channels, including emails, phone calls, and face-to-face interactions.
  • Maintaining a strong knowledge of V3 Sports products, services, policies, and eligibility requirements.
  • Learning all membership categories to provide prospective members with timely, accurate information on V3 memberships and programs.
  • Using Mindbody software to register new members and troubleshoot issues.
  • Keeping the member service desk clean, organized, and welcoming.
  • Following proper procedures for all membership transactions.
  • Handling cash and managing the cash drawer accurately and responsibly.
  • Opening and closing the Membership operation as scheduled.
  • Giving engaging facility tours to prospective members and guests.


Who You Are



  • You have customer service or sales experience.
  • You're trained in CPR, First Aid, AED, and Bloodborne Pathogens. If you do not already possess these certifications, training will be provided by V3 upon hiring.
  • You can work a minimum of 6 hours per week.
  • You have knowledge of and experience with diverse groups of people of all socioeconomic conditions.
  • You have an understanding of nonprofit practices and a desire to work in a team-orientated environment.
