Position Title - Social Media Specialist (Part Time)
Location/Site - Irvine, CA (Remote) Duration - 24 Months (This is a part-time role up to 20 hrs/week) Summary We are seeking a Social Media Specialist on a part-time, contract basis, with experience in social media management and strategy in the healthcare sector. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record with organic posting, managing paid advertising campaigns and leveraging social listening tools. This contract requires strong analytical abilities to report on performance metrics and provide actionable social insights to support overall brand objectives. This role would report into the Social Media Strategist. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (social media strategist, media, account teams, other agencies) to ensure implementation of paid and organic activity Support administrative tasks associated with paid media and financial trackers, including ensuring contracts, jobs, etc. are open for social management. Reconcile and submit monthly invoices and client billing. Compile regular reports on social media performance, analyze performance, providing clear insights, recommendations, and strategic guidance to stakeholders, in partnership with the Social Media Strategist and/or analytics team Monitor online conversations and competitive insights and trends using social listening tools and manual reviews to identify opportunities, risks, and consumer sentiment Stay abreast of industry and compliance updates that impact assigned accounts Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field * 4-6 years of social media strategy experience in healthcare or highly regulated industries * Expertise in paid social ad management and campaign optimization * Proficiency with social listening platforms and analytics tools * Strong understanding of organic social growth tactics and best practices * Excellent analytical, reporting, and presentation skills * Knowledge of healthcare compliance is a plus |
