This role is designed for someone who is curious, adaptable, and ready to solve problems across a variety of technical areas; from helping a colleague troubleshoot a laptop to assisting in cloud operations. • Learn to build and update infrastructure using Bicep templates.
  • Participate in scheduled maintenance tasks and operational improvement efforts.
  • Investigate and respond to platform alerts, escalating as needed.

IT & End-User Support (Approx. 20%)

  • Provide first-line support for laptops, operating systems, and software in a mixed-device environment (Windows, macOS, Linux).
  • Troubleshoot issues with company software, productivity tools, and collaboration platforms (Teams, Exchange Online, SharePoint).
  • Support hardware setup, imaging, and configuration for new employees.
  • Assist with device management, patching, and endpoint security using Intune and other tools.

Security Operations & Enablement (Approx. 20%)

  • Assist with implementing and maintaining access control, MFA, RBAC, and other security measures.
  • Support incident response preparation, audit readiness, and system hardening tasks.
  • Contribute to internal documentation and automation for secure operations (e.g., Logic Apps, scripting).

  • Familiarity with major operating systems (Windows, macOS, or Linux).
  • Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts, preferably within Microsoft Azure.
  • Exposure to scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) and a willingness to learn infrastructure-as-code (Bicep).
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to or interest in Microsoft 365 services (e.g., Exchange Online, Teams, Intune).
  • Familiarity with IAM concepts (e.g., Azure AD groups, RBAC, conditional access).
