Sr. Director, Digital Product Management - Digital Health

AsSr. Director, Product - Surgical Digital Health, youwill be the responsible for spearheading the development and execution of product vision and strategy that is centered around delivering an end-to-end seamless customer experience.Leading a team of product managers, you will work closely with key stakeholders to define product requirements and roadmaps for software products and services thatdrive financial value by simplifying and revolutionizing customer business operations. These solutions include digital supply chain operations, active inventory and order management and AI/ML-based demand sensing and forecasting. You will engage directly with Engineering, Strategy, GTM and Operational roles to work as a team to enable and deliver these solutions and have visibility into the global market to determine what is common and unique across regions. Your leadership skills and ability to encourage a team atmosphere are critical and you should demonstrate decisiveness alongside empathy, even during what can be stressful, product release times.We are a fast-growing team, which will give you a critical role in shaping our culture - think start-up, but within a global leader in eye care.

Key Responsibilities

* Work closely with peers to develop the end-to-end product strategy, from ideation to production, to deliver business value andend-to-end seamless customer experience.

* Lead the development and execution of the Surgical product roadmap and schedule and align with global Commercial and Franchise partners.

* Definition, monitoring of the product relevant OKRs, KPIs and control of the measures to achieve the objectives of the business

* Ensure the product backlog is clearly described, estimated, and prioritized to drive the team towards the product vision.

* Define product requirements, and work with the team to write epics, user stories and acceptance criteria, ensuring alignment with the product vision and strategy.

* Ensure compliance with relevant legal, privacy, regulatory laws.

* Collaborate with the engineering team to build a global platform that enables modular and reusable solutions that support the product vision and strategy.

* Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive successful product launch and user adoption.

* Engage with internal and external customers for feedback and user needs and drive continuous product improvements.

* Foster a culture of collaboration, creativity, speed, innovation, and excellence, adhering to best practices and high standards. Be an ambassador of Digital Health internally and externally to gain respect and trust throughout the organization.

* Act as a thought leader and voice of Alcon Surgical digital products in customer and partner meetings, conferences, and other public events.

* Identify and establish strategic partnerships with external vendors, technology providers, and industry experts to enhance platforms and drive innovation.

* Build, manage, and mentor a team of high-performing product managers and data domain owners and identify and promote high potentials and talents.

* Accomplished product leader with extensive experience in building and leading high-performing consumer product teams within an agile setting. Demonstrates a proven track record of successfully developing and launching products that have a business and consumer footprint.

* Strong capabilities and understanding of engineering and user experience factors as they relate to digital products.

* Collaborative Leader: A leader who thrives in dynamic, cross-functional team environments, fostering an open and respectful atmosphere. Possesses a team-first mindset, valuing diverse perspectives and contributing to a collaborative work culture that works across domains.

* Effective Communicator and Influencer: A strong communicator with exceptional influencing skills to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization (both verbal and written); Proven ability to effectively build productive cross-departmental relationships and drive alignment among leaders on critical decisions. Ability to navigate conflict in a positive and understanding way to gain advocates across the organization.

Minimum Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical discipline. Advanced degree or MBA preferred.

* Over 10 years of comprehensive experience in product management within a consumer products space. This includes developing product vision and roadmaps, engaging with customers, driving development, coordinating launches, and ensuring post-launch success.

* Over 10 years of leadership experience in an international environment and across multiple sites

* Demonstrated experience in end-to-end delivery of consumer products that deliver strong user experience and business value.

* 5+ years of experience and proven track record of successfully leading high performing product teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.

* Extensive experience working with cross-functional teams that could include software engineering, quality assurance, UI/UX design, commercial, data privacy and security, regulatory affairs andcustomer success.

* Strong motivational and entrepreneurial skills with techniques that allow equal amounts of capability to manage local and virtual teams.

* The role requires travel at times to co-create with internal teams, visit customers, partners, roadshows, trade fairs, press events and analysts worldwide
