Note: Onsite throughout training period with possibility for hybrid schedule post-training period

Job Description:

We are delighted to be recruiting a Procurement Specialist - Contractor in Client's Central Supply Chain organization. The Procurement Specialist - Contractor is responsible for leading strategy development and the Procure to Pay (P2P) end-to-end process for assigned Indirect Procurement categories that are critical to supporting business operations across multiple business groups and global locations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Sourcing Strategy: Support existing sourcing strategies to drive cost savings and mitigate sourcing risks for assigned Indirect Procurement categories.
  • Supplier Management: Proactively manage supplier relationships by setting clear expectations, monitoring compliance with contractual agreements, driving continuous performance improvements, and collaboratively resolving issues to ensure reliable supply and optimal cost-efficiency.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across multiple functions and business groups to gather requirements and collaborate on procurement strategies.
  • Contract Management: In collaboration with Contracts and Legal, prepare, review and negotiate contracts with vendors, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and legal requirements.
  • Procure to Pay: Manage the end-to-end process to acquire goods and services. It encompasses requisition, sourcing, purchase orders, receiving, invoicing and payment.
  • Vendor Management: Develop and maintain effective relationships with strategic and most critical vendors. Manage vendor performance, manage risk, lead business reviews, identify, develop and execute opportunities to create value.
  • Category Performance Management: Track and analyze procurement performance metrics to ensure category targets are met and continuously drive improvements.
  • Reporting: Prepare and communicate category strategies, sourcing plans, progress updates, KPIs, and market insights to key stakeholders.
  • Project Management: Lead and support procurement projects.



Experience & Capabilities:

  • Over five years of sourcing and procurement experience that includes:

    • Sourcing strategy execution
    • The creation and negotiation of global vendor agreements
    • Procurement including vendor management


  • Procurement experience in Indirect categories is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey information and collaborate with key stakeholders.
  • Proven capability in working collaboratively within a multicultural, geographically dispersed environment.



Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or supply chain management or a related field is required
  • A master's degree and/or professional certifications in business, purchasing or supply chain preferred
