    Leading healthcare educator organization is looking for a Security and Safety Coordinator. The Security Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the Enterprise Safety and Security department to fulfill its mission of Zero Harm for employees and community. You would also support administrative areas with general administrative tasks.

    Responsibilities:



    • Serve as the primary point of contact for safety and security at the location.
    • Manage and respond to safety/security incidents, ensuring compliance with company programs.
    • Oversee safety awareness, training, and the identification badge program.
    • Coordinate with facilities and real estate personnel on maintenance and building management updates.
    • Manage the parking control program and participate in emergency response efforts, including acting as Incident Commander if needed.
    • Complete safety-related reports (e.g., Monthly Loss Prevention and Quarterly Hazard Assessments) and lead the safety committee.
    • Maintain confidentiality, present a professional company image, and attend necessary calls/meetings.
    • Complete other duties and projects as assigned, ensuring compliance with all policies and standards.

This is a temporary to hire opportunity(would anticipate 6+ months for conversion). Competitive salary and benefits offered during the temporary duration. This does require being in office M-Friday.     Requirements:



    • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
    • Previous experience with supporting front office operations, security and safety
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, multitasking, customer service, and organizational skills.
    • Proficient in MS Office; Experience in MS Teams preferred.
    • Ability to learn proprietary software systems on the job will be required.
    • Certified in first aid, AED, CPR.
