What to Expect
Tesla is seeking a skilled and experienced Auto Damage Supervisor to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for coaching and developing a team of 5-8 adjusters/appraisers who will be writing the estimate, obtaining accurate valuations, preparing the necessary correspondence for the insureds, claimants, and their legal representatives and finalizing settlement of claims. Emphasis on accuracy of estimates and settlements, efficiency while maintaining file compliance.
What You'll Do
- Lead and develop a team of adjusters/appraisers to ensure quality, accuracy, and timely resolution of auto estimate assignments
- Continuously develop talent by creating opportunities for direct reports to grow and acquire new skills
- Promotes claims customer service excellence by building empathy and passion for a customer experience that meets or exceeds expectations
- Proactively assists in selecting top talent, delivering ongoing coaching, and recognizing employees to reinforce behaviors that ensure service excellence
- Analyzes problematic trends, takes steps to prevent recurrence, and escalate issues when necessary
- Promotes a culture focused on identifying process efficiencies to continuously improve work completion
What You'll Bring
- Strong supervisory, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Experience with major estimating software
- 2+ years' experience as a Tesla claims appraiser or prior Auto Damage Appraiser supervisor experience required
- Ability to complete work individually or in a team atmosphere
- Onsite presence is required everyday
- Tesla vehicle working knowledge preferred

Expected Compensation
$64,800 - $113,400/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
