Job Summary Participate in the design, development, and unit testing of moderate to complex areas of the software application development with a focus on problem solving, development sprints, and innovative product programming. KSAO's: Required Knowledge: Knowledge of design patterns and object-oriented design practices; a clear understanding of an Agile development methodology; experience in, delivering new or enhanced software products, tools and techniques for converting requirements into the software product design and implementation, managing versions and distribution of software products and enhancements, testing strategies and tactics to ensure software products quality and adherence to stated requirements; knowledge of and the ability to plan, organize, monitor and control IT projects ensuring the utilization of technical resources to better achieve project objectives; principles and processes for providing customer service; structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar; Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, and Internet Explorer) in addition to a strong technical understanding of the various supported hardware, software and networking systems. It does not involve solving the problem, only recognizing there is a problem. Written Expression: ability to communicate information and ideas in writing so others will understand; Confidentiality: ability to maintain confidentiality in all aspects of job; Teamwork: ability to work within a team-oriented, collaborative environment Job Context: The majority of work will be performed indoors in an environmentally controlled setting. Some property inspections and conferences will require travel and performing work outside of a controlled office setting. The work environment also includes the following: business casual; frequent contact with others via e-mail, telephone, face-to-face, letters and memos; daily decisions which have high impact on co-workers and company results; a high level of autonomy within highly structured process flows; and, may frequently include working beyond 40 hours per week.
