The Position

The Opportunity

Join our team as a dedicated Research Associate, contributing to groundbreaking projects at Ventana! You will be conducting laboratory research, driving strategies with your technical expertise, and collaborating in cross-functional teams to shape game changing solutions. Your role will encompass designing and executing experiments, analyzing data, and sharing insights through professional reports and presentations. By keeping meticulous documentation and adhering to quality standards, you'll ensure excellence in every aspect of your work.

In this position, you also are

  • Designing and executing experimental protocols while analyzing data and documenting results.
  • Maintaining accurate records and improving laboratory workflows and processes.
  • Preparing and presenting technical reports, summaries, and quantitative analyse in group and project teams. Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
  • Collaborating in cross-functional teams, troubleshooting, and implementing corrective actions. Trains others in areas of expertise. Providing training in areas of expertise and mentoring team members.
  • Recognizing and documenting work for potential publications or patents.
  • Driving innovative solutions and contributing to continuous quality improvement initiatives. Works on complex problems in which the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors.
  • Monitoring work quality and aligning with defined policies and evaluation criteria.

Who You Are

  • You hold a Bachelor's of Science and 4 years of relevant work experience

Behaviors, competencies, and qualities of the ideal applicant.

  • Experience with BenchMark IHC/ISH Instruments
  • Expertise in Assay and Detection Development for Immunohistochemistry-based devices
  • Knowledge of Digital Pathology Assay Development
  • Proficiency in Multiplex Detection Kit Development
  • Familiarity with Design of Experiments and Statistical Analyses
  • Experience in writing software scripts

Relocation benefits are not offered for this position.

The expected salary range for this position based on Arizona is 68,300.00
97,500.00. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
