Mission
OpenAI's Scaling organization provides the software and hardware that deliver useful compute for the entire company. This includes training and inference frameworks, cluster management and hardware health, hardware and data-center design, and partnerships with research teams to train frontier models and host engines used by billions of people. A centerpiece of this mission is Stargate, our next-generation compute initiative to design and stand up world-class infrastructure capable of powering the most advanced AI models. About the RoleWe're looking for a seasoned Senior Technical Recruiter to partner with senior data center leaders to drive hiring for Stargate. This role sits on the Recruiting team but operates as an embedded partner to the Scaling organization, giving you deep context on technical priorities and the freedom to craft creative, high-impact sourcing strategies. Key Responsibilities
This role is based in our San Francisco or Seattle office. We operate a hybrid model: three days per week in the office with optional work-from-home on Thursdays and Fridays.
