Faculty Position in Clinical Pathology

The NYU Grossman School of Medicine Department of Pathology is inviting applications for a clinical pathologist with experience and/or board certification in blood banking/transfusion medicine to direct two satellite laboratories within the NYU Langone Health system and participate in hematology and chemistry clinical pathology services in the new state-of-the art core laboratory. The successful candidate will join a team of 8 Clinical Pathologists with diverse subspecialties to support the laboratory needs of a large health system. The satellite laboratories are part of the Perlmutter Cancer center and faculty group practice laboratories. The Tisch Hospital clinical laboratory performs approximately 8 million clinical laboratory tests annually. The successful candidate must be board certified in Clinical Pathology with experience in directing a Clinical Pathology service. The candidate must be licensed to practice medicine in New York State and be qualified for a New York Certificate of Qualification (COQ) in Clinical Pathology disciplines. In addition to clinical service, this position requires teaching pathology residents, students, and clinical fellows. Collaborative research opportunities are abundant. Salary and rank will commensurate with experience. Salary range: $260,000 - $300,000 (The salary range listed is for full-time employment and does not include incentive compensation or benefits. Actual salary may not fall within the listed salary range; consideration will be made for experience, training, hospital/community need and other factors).
