Description Non-Exempt Hourly - $25-$30/hour (DOE) Location: Colorado Springs, CO Job Summary Monument Roofing, A Tecta America Company, LLC IS seeking a dedicated and skilled Class A CDL Driver/ Yard Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a role in maintaining and managing yard activities, including loading and unloading freight, operating various types of vehicles, while ensuring a safe work environment. This position requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Duties Operate various types of vehicles including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks for yard operations. Load and unload freight efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Assist with route driving as required to support delivery operations. Utilize forklifts for moving materials within the yard safely. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the yard area to promote safety and efficiency. Collaborate with team members to meet operational goals and deadlines. Qualifications Valid Class A CDL license. Minimum of 3 years of CDL driving experience is preferred Clean driving record. Familiarity with delivery driver responsibilities is a plus. Forklift experience required (certificate preferred) Knowledge of handling flatbeds, tankers, and other specialized equipment is beneficial. Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification is preferred but not mandatory. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment. Working Conditions: Physical surroundings: Field and warehouse environment with exposure to heights, noise and temperature. Physical Effort: Walking, turning, stooping and reaching for and carrying materials, stepping over and around obstacles, climbing ladders and scaffolding. Ability to lift over 25-50 lbs. on a regular basis. Must hear well enough to understand oral directions. Must see to read forms, labels, directions, prints, and specifications. Travel: Report to same home office - travel will be from job site to job site daily. Hours: Subject to overtime Tecta America is an EEO employer.
