Description
Position Summary
The Customer Service Representative (CSR) plays a key role on the Customer Experience Team by providing outstanding service and support to our customers. This position involves delivering inventory to customer locations, responding to inquiries, processing orders, and ensuring a seamless customer experience. The CSR will serve as the first point of contact for customer needs, resolving issues quickly and accurately, while also supporting branch operations. Daily responsibilities may include quoting and processing orders, assisting with product inquiries, supporting vending machine operations, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring customer requirements are met with urgency and accuracy. Location: Tacoma, WA 98421 Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 4:30 pm (some flexibility on start/end time)
Essential Job Duties
Deliver exceptional customer service through accurate order processing, clear communication, and coordination with internal departments.
Serve as the primary contact for inquiries related to orders, scheduling, deliveries, and product availability.
Accurately enter quotes and orders using ERP software (Prophet 21).
Learn and utilize automated systems and processes, including vending machines, wireless warehouse systems, and other technology tools.
Monitor customer inventory levels, ensuring Min/Max requirements and safety stock are consistently maintained.
Expedite open quotes, orders, and service requests with urgency and attention to detail.
Source products and solutions quickly by leveraging supplier partnerships and internal resources.
Follow established processes for Customer Service, Warehouse, Solutions, and Quality to deliver a consistent, positive customer experience.
Collaborate effectively with the Customer Experience team, Sales, and Specialists.
Stay current with Stellar's products, services, and programs, as well as all required training and certifications.
Adhere to all customer-specific guidelines, safety procedures, and on-site requirements.
Qualifications
Required Knowledge and Skills
Must be able to work on location (this is not a remote position).
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with customers and coworkers.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience with ERP systems preferred (Prophet 21 a plus).
