DevSecOps /Site Reliability Engineer needed for a contract to hire opportunity with SOC's client to work onsite in Tysons Corner, VA. *Active Secret clearance required* Requires minimum 5 years of platform engineering / support experience to include: three (3) years of experience developing and operating containerized services deployed in production on orchestration platforms such as Cloud Foundry or Kubernetes; building developer platform services and APIs that scale in production; building and sustaining production services using Cloud Infrastructure Providers such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure; designing or administering Identity and Access Lifecycle Management Operations and controls; building and maintaining continuous delivery pipelines. Requires prior experience working in a collaborative environment requiring frequent teaming and written / verbal communication with all levels of internal and external stakeholders. Experience managing, reporting, and facilitating certification of access for all in-scope resources (including SaaS, AWS, Azure, CSS managed applications, tools, and systems). An Active and transferable U.S. government issued DoD Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. An Active TS Clearance is preferred. Qualifications We Value Prior experience deploying Platform as a Service (PaaS) Automating platform management at enterprise scale. Highly motivated with the ability to provide creative solutions to complex problems. Experience developing platform APIs that make common software operations scalable and repeatable. Experience building continuous delivery and integration (CI/CD) pipelines. Experience responding to software outages and executing post mortem reviews including root cause analyses. Familiarity with DevSecOps concepts. Proficiency in scripting via bash, python and/or Powershell. Required: Active DoD Secret clearance Requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience - or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience Employment Prerequisites The following requirements must be met to be eligible for this position: successful completion of a background investigation and drug urinalysis.
