Your Role

As a Gensler Human Resources Analyst, you will join the Human Resources team in either our Oakland, San Francisco or New York office (5 days a week) and play a central role with the analysis, operations, creation and delivery of our retirement and compensation programs including ESOP, Profit Sharing, 401(k) and global retirement plans. You will also be integral in establishing retirement programs in new countries as we continue to expand globally.

What You Will Do

  • Create, prepare, and distribute communications to support new associate onboarding, new initiatives, and the creation of new retirement programs globally.

  • Independently reconcile retirement contributions and prepare & upload files to various vendors.

  • Provide moderately complex data and analytical support for various large scale annual projects including building data spreadsheets for bonus, merit, and profit sharing.

  • Create and deliver retirement statements for the Global Profit-Sharing Plan participants.

  • Liaison across multiple communities including global HR, vendors, and leadership to provide outstanding customer service to our employees with retirement/compensation-related inquiries.

  • Manage wellness initiatives such as on-site meetings or webinars. Partner with various team members in the creation and delivery of Wellness webinars during Annual Wellbeing Week. Represent Retirement team on Annual Wellbeing Week Committee.

  • Create and maintain retirement content on Gensler benefits portal.

  • Partner with HRIS team to ensure accurate set up and on-going administration of retirement enrollment system.

  • Utilize effective data analysis skills on benefits compliance activities, including non-discrimination testing, audits, and 5500s.

  • Recommend process improvements to improve efficiency.

  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is required.

  • 5+ years' experience working in an HR department focused on retirement administration or compensation or with a retirement plan provider; prefer experience working in a large, global organization.

  • Possess working to advanced knowledge of ERISA, and other benefits-related legislation with ability to learn and understand additional emerging state/federal/global regulations.

  • Strong customer service orientation, a team player with the ability to establish collaborative working relationships and provide outstanding customer service to employees with retirement-related inquiries.

  • Ability to solve more advanced problems, both individually and as part of a global project team.

  • Ability to communicate clearly in both verbal and written form.

  • Strong organizational skills and detail oriented.

  • Motivated self-starter with ability to work independently, juggle multiple responsibilities and prioritize effectively.

  • Positive attitude, willingness to "go the extra mile".

  • Possess strong analytical skills with the ability to manipulate large amounts of data using technology.

  • Advanced MS Office Skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint required.

  • Experience working with HRIS systems - Workday preferred.

**The compensation range in Oakland/San Francisco is estimated between $105k-115k plus bonuses and benefits and contingent on relevant experience.

**The compensation range in New York is estimated between $95k-105k plus bonuses and benefits and contingent on relevant experience.
