Description
We are seeking a highly skilled System Integrator to join our team and support the critical Ground-Based Air Defense (GBAD) program. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development, integration, and sustainment of advanced defense systems. The successful candidate will work closely with both government and contractor teams to ensure seamless system performance, effective software and network configuration, and successful testing and troubleshooting. Key Responsibilities
- Provide system integration support, including software installation, configuration, and network setup at multiple sites.
- Support development, engineering, and integration of the Common Software Baseline (CSB) to align with program requirements.
- Assist with the planning, development, and deployment of software releases (minimum of four annually, with potential additional emergent releases).
- Integrate vendor-supplied and system software updates into the CSB.
- Support software testing at government and contractor facilities, including:
- Automation Testing.
- Integration Testing.
- Regression Testing.
- Build Acceptance Testing.
- Cybersecurity Compliance Testing (CCT)
- Cybersecurity Compliance Testing (CCT)
- Other test events as required.
Skills
- Proven experience in system integration, software configuration, and network setup within defense or related industries.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, testing, and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Familiarity with defense systems, particularly Ground-Based Air Defense systems, is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with VMware environments, including ESXi & vCenter administration and management of multiple VMs.
- Strong Windows Enterprise administration background (Windows Server 2019/2022; Windows 10 & 11).
- Proficiency with Active Directory and Group Policy.
- Red Hat Linux administration experience.
- Solid networking knowledge, including Cisco switches, routers, and overall network design/configuration.
- Command and Control (C2) system experience.
- Understanding of 6016 datalinks and differences between them.
- Link 16 integration experience.
- Familiarity with radio systems (preferred).
- Ability and willingness to travel to government and contractor facilities as needed.
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work in both independent and collaborative team environments.
- Excellent communication skills for supporting government and contractor stakeholders.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other related filed is preferred.
- Must have or be able to obtain a CompTIA Security Plus certification prior to start date.
- Must have or be eligible for a Secret Clearance.
