As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a prominent educational location, you will play a pivotal role in creating a welcoming and secure environment for students, staff, and visitors. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring access to the facility, verifying credentials, and assisting with badge procedures. By maintaining a visible presence at the front desk, you will help to deter security-related incidents and provide prompt assistance to anyone in need. You will also be the first point of contact for inquiries, delivering outstanding customer service and clear communication. Pay Rate: $16.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to all individuals entering or exiting the location by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Monitor access points at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Assist with visitor management by verifying identification and issuing visitor passes as required by site guidelines.
• Answer questions and provide directions or information to students, staff, and visitors as needed.
• Maintain detailed logs and/or reports of daily activities, observations, and incidents encountered at the front desk.
• Coordinate with Allied Universal management and/or site representatives in the event of emergencies or unusual occurrences.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
