Temporary Accounting Administrative Assistant

Colliers Engineering & Design is looking for an energetic and detail-driven Temporary Accounting Administrative Assistant to join our finance and operations teams in our Holmdel, NJ office! • Provide administrative support to the accounting and finance team.
• Assist with data entry of invoices, purchase orders, receipts, and expense reports.
• Track, file, and maintain vendor and client documentation, including W-9s and insurance certificates.
• Reconcile receipts and credit card statements; follow up on missing documentation.
• Support mailing, shipping, and office-related tasks (sending FedEx packages, managing incoming mail, purchasing office supplies).
• Prepare, update, and maintain spreadsheets in Excel for financial tracking and reporting.
• Assist with gathering and organizing data from internal drives and files.
• Coordinate occasional office tasks such as ordering meals, assisting with events, or arranging deliveries.
• Provide general administrative support as needed to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

• Previous experience in an administrative or accounting support role preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (basic formulas, data entry, formatting).
• Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable handling sensitive financial information with confidentiality.
• Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.

Compensation: $20.00 to $28.00 per hour (depending on qualifications)
