In this role you will work with engineering to ensure parts meet the required quality standards and specifications. We're looking for Engineers who know their way around components and supply and who want to help build technology that supports national defense and electronic systems.As a Senior Component Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for the programmatic oversight and guidance to the selection, development, evaluation, qualification, production, and procurement of electronic parts. What You'll Do: *Develop and revise foundational program documentation (such as Parts Management Plan, Device Evaluation Testing Plan, Qualification Plan, Lot Acceptance, etc.) *Identify key deliverables and dependencies, identify risks and opportunities, ensure plans are in place to meet program milestones, and make needed technical and quality related decisions *Independently drive solutions to complex problems - develop requirements, propose ways forward when requirements are unclear or incomplete, and adapt appropriately to changes in requirements *Establish and maintain process for a common parts library *Interface and coordinate decisions from various stakeholders including but not limited to designers, component engineers, procurement agencies, to assess enabling technologies and the selection of parts. *Maintain the Approved Parts List and associated interface with Design Environment Infrastructure *Coordinate Supply Chain Management requirements, including Program Protection *Contribute to the development of Procurement Plans/Strategies *Contribute to the establishment of supplier quality requirements and conduct supplier evaluations and supply chain risk management assessments *Contribute to establishment of part specification requirements and associated templates *Define prototype acceptance requirements, production quality levels, production traceability requirements, production acceptance approach What You Bring: *Experience working with electronic parts, circuit card assemblies, radiation hardened testing, and parts acceptance requirements. *Experience working with evolving requirements involving cross-functional stakeholders. *Ability to work independently *Strong organizational skills and attention to detail *Excellent time management skills with the proven ability to meet deadlines *Ability to prioritize tasks *Strong analytical and problem-solving skills *Good interpersonal skills to communicate clearly *Excellent written and oral communication skills Job Description: Duties/Responsibilities Additional Job Description: This position will require the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD security clearance. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Union ranges will be in compliance with the collective bargaining agreement's approved rates by location and role.
