The Department of Chemical Engineering and Materials Science (https://cse.umn.edu/cems) at the University of Minnesota seeks to fill a full-time faculty position at the Assistant Professor (tenure-track) level. Exceptional candidates in all areas will be considered. The successful candidate will be expected to carry out a vigorous program of original research at a world-class level, advise graduate students, teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the Department of Chemical Engineering and Materials Science (CEMS), and participate in Departmental and University governance. Outstanding candidates with a Ph.D. in any area related to chemical engineering and materials science will be considered, including biology, chemistry, physics, and other related engineering disciplines. Candidates should have an outstanding academic and research record and a commitment to teaching in a highly interdisciplinary department and towards advancing the mission and excellence of the institution.
