The Opportunity: We are searching for a Senior Marketing Manager who will lead our brand and marketing initiatives for The Abaco Club, shaping the narrative for our private golf club and luxury real estate with the key goals of:
- Driving leads for membership and real estate
- Elevating the luxury level of the club
- Advancing the brand
The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of brand management expertise, marketing acumen, project management skills, and digital marketing experience to drive the success of our distinctive lifestyle offerings.
Duties and Functions
1. Strategic Brand Development
- Collaborate with the CMO and Creative Director to develop and implement a comprehensive brand strategy that reflects the exclusivity of private golf clubs and luxury real estate.
- Cultivate and enhance brand identity, ensuring alignment with the values and aspirations of discerning clientele.
- Partner with property leadership teams and communications managers to ensure consistent and high-quality brand delivery.
2. Marketing Campaigns
- Conceptualize, plan, and execute tailored campaigns highlighting the lifestyle and unique features of the club and its real estate.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate marketing strategies with property experiences.
- Work closely with sales leadership and teams to ensure alignment with sales strategies and goals.
- Manage all partnerships, ensuring compliance with contracts and maximizing lead generation.
- Seek new partnership opportunities to elevate brand awareness.
- Collaborate with the Florida salesperson to identify new channels for exposure and interest.
3. Project Management
- Oversee marketing projects from concept to completion, ensuring flawless execution.
- Establish and manage timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
4. Communications Expertise
- Provide guidance and strategic direction to the member communications manager.
- Oversee communications calendars, ensuring priority messaging is timely and impactful.
- Streamline communications channels and explore new, innovative approaches.
5. Digital Marketing
- Collaborate with the Digital Director to drive measurable results through digital strategies.
- Build strategic email campaigns with segmentation, personalization, and automation.
- Utilize HubSpot to optimize campaigns.
- Support paid media planning across search and social channels.
- Manage content marketing initiatives, including SEO, blogging, and social media.
- Oversee website updates, ensuring content remains fresh, engaging, and aligned with sales and brand strategies.
6. Communications & PR Leadership
- Serve as liaison for public relations efforts, working with PR partners and agencies.
- Organize media visits, press trips, and influencer engagements.
- Oversee press releases, story pitches, and PR content.
7. Prospect Engagement & Launch Strategies
- Develop and manage prospect communications, ensuring consistent brand tone.
- Execute neighborhood launch strategies to generate qualified leads and support sales.
- Create segmented messaging strategies for various prospect stages.
- Tailor communications for members, prospects, real estate buyers, and partners.
- Use analytics and feedback to refine communications and boost conversions.
8. Marketing for Operations Growth
- Partner with operations leaders to develop strategies supporting growth of on-site amenities and services.
- Collaborate with the communications manager to increase member participation in events and lifestyle offerings.
9. Collateral Review & Development
- Collaborate with the Creative Director to evaluate and enhance marketing and sales collateral.
- Provide sales and operations teams with updated, high-quality materials.
- Ensure collateral reflects brand consistency and strategy.
10. Industry Expertise
- Stay informed on private golf club and luxury real estate trends, market dynamics, and competitors.
11. Collaboration & Leadership
- Foster collaboration across creative, digital, and sales teams for a unified brand message.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members, fostering innovation and excellence.
Qualification Standards
- Proven experience as a Senior Brand and Marketing Manager in luxury real estate and/or private golf clubs.
- Demonstrated success developing and implementing brand strategies for exclusive properties.
- Track record of successful project management for high-end real estate.
- Deep understanding of the luxury lifestyle industry, including market trends and consumer preferences.
- Expertise in digital marketing channels, tools, and analytics.
- Strong strategic thinking with ability to elevate brand positioning.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Collaborative team player with ability to inspire and influence others.
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making ability.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business, or related field (advanced degree or certifications a plus).
- Experience with HubSpot, MailChimp, HTML coding, Monday.com, and Jonas Club Management software a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience required.
- Ability to travel to The Abaco Club (Great Abaco, Bahamas) 6-12 times per year to support marketing and sales activities, press trips, photo shoots, and related efforts.
